Veneers are often used to correct or repair a number of issues, including damaged or discolored teeth enamel. Veneers are wafer-thin restorations that are placed over the front surfaces of teeth to mask flaws or imperfections.
At Cherry Blossom Family Dentistry, we use veneers to treat a range of flaws or imperfections, including chips, cracks, discoloration, gaps and worn-down teeth. They are applied as masks over the front surfaces of teeth, giving you an attractive and natural-looking smile. With excellent results and a simple procedure, itβs no wonder why veneers are so popular.
We offer traditional and composite veneers at our dental practice. Each material requires two visits to apply. The first visit is where we will remove a very fine amount of enamel from your teeth. Then we will take impressions and send them to a dental lab, where your custom-made veneers will be manufactured. A temporary veneer will be placed over your teeth in the meantime. The second appointment is where we will apply the permanent veneer over the front surfaces of your teeth.
The application requires a cementing process that is accelerated with a curing light, giving you a fast bonding process and quick results. After our dentist cleans off the excess materials and polishes the margins, your teeth will be ready for the world to see.
Our veneers are stain-resistant, so you may continue your normal consumption of dark beverages, such as coffee, and tobacco. Once your veneers are placed, they will look and function like normal teeth. You can smile, eat, drink and speak as you would normally!
If you are looking to improve the overall appearance of your teeth, veneers may be the answer! To learn more or to start the process toward a new smile, give our dental office a call.
